Otaku Expo 2014

The Ozine Team and the Anime cable channel ANIMAX joined together to organize OTAKU EXPO 2014, which is scheduled on January 11-12, 2014 at SM Megamall Megatrade Halls.


According to the announcement, Otaku Expo will house the postponed ANIMAX Carnival Philippines’ cosplay competition.

That event, which was the second ANIMAX Carnival event in the country which was supposed to be held at the Ayala Malls’ TriNoma Activity Center on December 8, was cancelled in deference to the victims and respect for the nation as it grieves the devastating losses caused by Typhoon Yolanda.

Japanese artist May’n, who should be the guest of the ANIMAX Carnival Philippines will not make it to the event due to scheduling problems but according to the host, they are already working with other ‘guests’. However, The Ozine team has not yet revealed who is going to be their guest for Otaku Expo 2014.

There will also be fun activities such as Animax Puzzle and Trivia Games, Karaoke contests, and many surprises in store for those who will come.
