The future of DJ Milfuelle - ACGP Radio.

Hello , I'm DJ Milfuelle.

I'm a weekend DJ for ACGP, and I usually hold

events during saturday evening (onwards).

I've decided not to hold my event(s) in caster.fm.

Why?
- Broadcast Delay
- Single DJ
- Low Quality music broadcast
- Requests can't be entertained if the song is not available in Mixxx : Software used to broadcast.
- High Bandwidth Consumption

Since I'm also working as a DJ in another group , I've observed that the software that they're using is really good , which was 'Garena Talk'.

Advantages of using Gtalk :

Click:

-Multiple DJs
-Requests can easily be entertained.
-Almost no broadcast delay
-Bandwidth consumption is REALLY low
-DJ Scoring
-DJ Gifting
-Non-DJs/Members might be given a chance to talk on-air aswell Very Happy

Ofcourse , there are also disadvantages.

Disadvantages of using Gtalk :
-chatango and caster.fm "might" be rendered useless.
-software installation will be required
-mobile listeners can't listen to the radio anymore.
-mac users are more or less screwed
(unless they know how to make it work, I know some people who made it work. I'll ask them how they did it.)

We don't want any unhappy people in ACGP Radio , so the solution we've thought of is... (current solution , might change)

-caster.fm will still be active , but DJ Milfuelle won't be there.

DJ Milfuelle's events will be held in gtalk.

That way , caster.fm and chatango will still be useful.

Once again , we do not want anyone ending up unsatisfied , so we are trying our best to find solutions to the problems we are having.
