During my highschool and upto college I really have the bad attitude of always being late in class, thus people perceive me as of being lazy, not dependable, stubborn, and sleeps in the class most of the time.

But one thing that I am proud of about myself is my determination and positive attitude.. When I want something done, I really get the job done. I don't study at all, I play games, I watch anime, and I seldom read books(Except 1 or 2 days before the exams)

Something funny though I think alike like Naruto, Luffy or Natsu.. "It is never too late, Don't Give up!, You can do it" this are the words that I carry everytime I take exams or we have projects, defense, etc.

And not to brag about, I consider myself as a top student during my class although I'm not that people with Honors, being a Cum Laude or anything but heck what do you expect to a lazy bum like meh! lol!

I'm the opposite of my internet self.
If you're with me, you'll get bored cause I tend to observe others and not really talk about anything. Though if we're real close, it's a different story.
Also, I'm a literal Jack of All Trades. I have no trouble starting to learn a skill, but I have difficulty in keeping my interest in it to keep mastering it.
And I'm more comfortable talking to girls rather than boys.(Don't ask why, I don't know either)

Oh yeah! I remember "Jack of all TRADES!" no wonder I missed that one.. although I am very vocal in the internet and usually silent irl.. That makes us somewhat alike Jackoz! haha pretty opposite and btw I am also comfortable talking with girls but sadly few to none are anime fanatics -_- so I don't like talking to any of them.

I feel you, Jackoz. We're of the same characteristics. However, here's the difference between you and me: I don't talk anything personal, even though he/she is of the same bloodline as mine or my relative. I really talk about my transaction/what I need to that person and nothing else follows.

Anyway, here's a real confession of mine:

I have Autism - Asperger's Syndrome.

I think some of you might laugh at it or to me because most of the autistic people have difficulty in motor skills and others. The thing in my condition is I am like a Think-tank and sometimes losing focus. I don't communicate much physically to people because I am a shy-type of person and doesn't speak much. I am not a broadcast type of person. I use writing to express myself kasi mahina ako sa mga extemporaneous stuff 'cause I rash and rush in terms of thinking and I have a lot to say and many things come in my mind.

I just wish I can interact normally to people. Yet, with this mentally challenged state, may mga na-achieve at na-experience din ako [and I'm not yet finished in my studies] like joining the reserves, the hardships of training, leading a company, etc.

Bro RicoTrooper that's okay! I can understand a bit on how you feel.. I am a nurse btw and I've taken care of people with different disorders, you don't have to say that people might laugh about your condition because those people are crap and the ones who are narrow-minded, you wouldn't want to waste your time on them. Basta keep doing your best bro! don't let that syndrome be the best of you. You are more than talented than any normal human being. lol!

I really like this topic btw! because I get the chance to know more about you guys..

My advice to Renz...

Try practicing talking to friends, even here in the forum. Maybe that would help you ease the awkwardness in talking, especially in the physical world. Try talking to those people about what interests them or that could generate a positive feedback from them to keep the talk flowing. As the talk goes through, you may shift to to the topic you desire to talk about to him/her. In short, try breaking the ice first.

Pero I hate it when someone calls me otaku. I kept denying that I am one. It feels like.. UN-normal to other people.
I always call anime as cartoons whenever someone asks what I am watching.

I apologize if however, I might offend with these words and that you might probably hate me but please just think of the words I just said only applies to my life and my life alone.

I think there's nothing wrong if someone called you an "Otaku." Maybe, there's a story behind the "otaku" term why you hate to hear it sooo much.

I think you have your own reasons for that, if you don't feel like sharing then that is your choice. Also it could be some incidents in the past that we have nothing to do about but then hey! this is the forums we are people that are unknown to each other, we come here with the same likes/interests and we probably even understand each other much better. If it makes you feel good to share, then do it! if not well I'm coolio with it either way.
