Just sharing a cool game in Japan that is on it starting phase.



Kantai Collection, also known as Kancolle, is a online browser game in which one assumes the role of an admiral, assembles a fleet of kanmusu (ship girls… girls based on World War II era Japanese ships and submarines) and battles against fleets of alien enemy warships.

I have watched the episode of Imagine-Nation in NHK-World last Tuesday night 11:30PM and heard this cool game. It is R18 because of it graphic stuff [but not ecchi and nudity at all; it's just all that girly physique stuff] of the Kanmusu's outfit.

While Kantai Collection or "Combined Fleet Girls Collection", KanColle for short hasn't registered too firmly in the conscious of international Cool Japan enthusiasts, since its launch in April, the free-to-play online social card starring anthropomorphic moe battleships by Kadokawa has become huge among Japanese otaku. Fueling the assumption that its only a matter of time before the hit franchise spawns an anime series, the game has now inspired a new manga and a light novel series.

In the game play as an admiral, assembling your fleet of battleship girls, going to war against alien enemies to keep things from getting too politically weird.

However, the game is available on Japan ONLY. Meaning, the game isn't expanded for international players. Just to add, the Fleet girls you have lost in battle cannot be revived back [because the creator of the game that they are akin to sunken ships]. They can't restore HP, fuel and armaments on their own, so the admiral must provide it for them. The admiral can also acquire Fleet Girls from the enemy, create their own Fleet Girl, etc.

There is so many things in the game. I just can't wait for the game to be released for international players.

Well… IDK if proxy sites can do the job. The main problem will be the language barrier of the browser game especially if that has a captcha stuff along the registration process.

It will not be the problem if you know their language. The game is pretty sexy. That's why I wanna play this game soo bad.

Can someone post a tutorial for this....

I've been seeing a lot of this in F! recently.

Only by just reading the game from wikipedia, no wonder why the game rocks.
The game also has voice actresses that makes trading-card-game a whole lot better.

Dang! How can you play the game? I hope it gets an English server or patch.

It won't probably get an english patch since this game is exclusive only for Japanese player.
But still you can play this game with a proxy. Even though I understand Japanese the game is full of Kanji characters so It's still confuses me with it. But you'll get a hang of it when you play it everytime.

Anyway, I just got a tip on how to play it in English and I really wonder if it works. Here's how:

Future admirals must create an account on DMM. An English DMM account is fine, as players only need a VPN to connect to the game as well as to enter the lottery. Check out the Proxy Connection guide for more info on how to do this.

To register to DMM, here's the link: Register to DMM. You can go to the English language anyway to register. There is a pop-up after loading the page. Just click the English and everything will be as easy as childbirth.
